Written by Ajola Daja and directed by Adrian Guri, THE WOODEN SUITCASE is a drama based on true events, following a group of people attempting to escape across the border on a freezing winter night in the 1980s. At its center is Ela, a young mother carrying her baby, as she and her husband Arjan risk everything for a chance at a better life. THE WOODEN SUITCASE is a powerful story about sacrifice, fear, and the irreversible consequences of choosing freedom.
